Overlooking the clean, clear waters of Tanjung Benoa, the new Thalasso Bali is brilliantly located to source the fresh ingredients required for the many therapies. Seawater and seaweed are heated to form the basis of all Thalasso therapies.

The Thalasso Bali center is located at the ground floor within The Mirage Resort area and can be reached by walking from the main lobby down to the center or from the beach area using the entrance near the Rama Stage, just follow the aroma of the essential oils along the ground floor corridor.

Thalassotherapy
Thalasso comes from the ancient Greeks word 'thalassa', that means "Ocean". Free your mind and body in the healing power of the sea, the wold's most powerful life source holds the key to health, beauty and relaxation. The intrinsic link between you and the sea forms the basis of this life giving treatment.

Thalasotherapy, a combination of fresh seawater treatments and massage, enables the body to replenish essential revitalizing natural elements and mineral salts. It also improves our blood circulation and offers total relaxation for your body, mind and soul. Below is the fact why use and combine Sea Water, Seaweed and Heat:

• By heating sea water to a body temperature, the Oligo elements can penetrate easily into the skin. It has a relaxing effect on the muscles, relieves pain and alleviated contractions.
• If you compare our own blood plasma to seawaters composition it's almost identical. We need these minerals to live; but they are indispensable, not always available.
• Seaweed has ten times more oligo elements than seawater. Applied in a form of mud paste and heated at 32 degrees celcius, the elements enter the body to enhance the immune system and stimulate cells.

Use our warm sea water for vitality, relaxation and replenishing your whole body top to toe.Why using Aquamedic Pool, here are some reasons:

• Aquamedic track: tour in front of multiple jets, passage over the geyser, travel through 15 leg jets all arranged at a different depth. Relax under our waterfall and receive an invigorating back massage.
• Aquagym: float in the bubbling zone and exercise under the supervision of a therapist. Feel weightless and relax whilst the pool works for you.
• Aqua Relax: lay back and let your stress melt away in our underwater sea beds. Receive a massage whilst you kick back and close your eyes.

GENERAL INFORMATION

• Facilities
  Thalasso Bali is up grading menu and product for your wellness and beauty. Standard and tailor made programs are available from many kinds of Thalasso therapy, Indonesian and other Asian traditional including Indian ayurveda therapy with selected natural products. All treatment rooms have different theme and atmospheric lighting effects to indulge your senses. All therapists are French trained Hydro therapist and masseur.
• Operational Hours and Check in
  The Thalasso Bali operates daily from09:00am until 11:00pm (extended hours can be arranged but must be booked in advance with minimum of 10 persons). Also some Thalasso massage service is available at Grand Mirage Resort's guest room daily from 5:00pm until 11:00pm. Please check in at the Thalasso reception at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment, late arrival will be subject to reduced treatment time.
• Amenities and Valuables
  Wide range of amenities and toiletries are provided in the changing rooms and locker areas. For your treatment we ask that you disrobe completely within the privacy of your treatment room. Disposable Thalasso wear, robe, bag, and slipper are available for you in your respective locker. Please bring your own swimwear for use in the Aquamedic Pool. We request that no jewelry be worn during your visit or treatment in Thalasso Bali. The Thalasso Bali accepts no responsibility for the safety for money and valuables of any kind brought on to the premises.
• Thalasso Etiquette and Children Policy
  In order to receive the most relaxing treatments we respectfully request that all mobile phone, pagers, electronic devices and other valuables are left in your room safe. And Children under 12 years old are restricted to accessing the Thalasso Bali Center area.
• Menstrual Cycle and Pregnancy
  Ladies in their cycle are kindly requested not to use the Aquamedic Pool. If you are pregnant, you may want to avoid treatment using deep pressure and please inform our reception of your condition upon requesting the treatment, enbeling us to assist you in selecting the treatments most appropriate.

   A. Aquamedic Pool (60 minutes / 120minutes)
   Experience the sensation of plunging into a 100% pure seawater pool heated to 38 degrees with a water station massage and exercise bar. This reduces excess cellulite and improves your muscle tone, flexibility and circulation through a series of aquatic leg exercises. Feel the force of the sea massaging your feet, lower back and shoulders under jet streams and pounding waterfalls or simply relax on an underwater bed as micro jets revive your body with an effervescent massage.
   B. Seaweed Deluxe Hydro Bath (25 minutes)
   A computerized jet bath of pure seawater and seaweed for total relaxation and skin moisturizing.
   C. Balneotherapy (25 minutes)
   Close your eyes and unwind as you lie back in a uniquely designed seawater bath. Our specially trained hydro therapist will direct an underwater jet massage to specific parts of the body to help tone muscles and stimulate deep relaxation.
   D. Great Shower (15 minutes)
   A bracing hydro massage awakens your entire body, leaving you refreshed, energized and ready to face another day. The warmth and power of the jet stream reduces both tension and cellulite to invigorate your skin and energize your spirit.
   E. Aerosol Marine (15 minutes)
   Cleanses the respiratory system with an ionic seawater mist. Improves breathing problems caused by smoking and asthma.
   F. Pediluve (90 minutes)
   Start with a Deluxe Bubble Foot Bath by dipping your feet into gently bubbling water and let the tensions of the land drift away. A dual tub, specially designed to revive your feet and legs, is filled on either side with warm and cool seawater respectively. The bubbles and changes in temperature improve blood circulation while peacefully relaxing your mind, body and soul. A soothing scrub will remove rough skin and give feet a new lease of life. Then, polishing your foot to take out smell and dead skin.

   H. Affusion Shower Massage (50 minutes)
   Start with an aromatic serum facial massage, and front massage. A shower of warm and cool sea spray cascades over your body while oil is rubbed into your feet, legs and back enabling a rapid replenishment of vital natural elements such as iron, copper, manganese, cobalt and iodine. Your body’s immune system, circulation and muscle tone will be improved.
   I. French Warm Argotherapy (25 minutes)
   Your body is painted with French seaweed and a seawater paste and then wrapped in a warm blanket. The sea’s natural elements are rapidly absorbed and your immune system is improved as toxins are eliminated and excess fat burns off.
   J. French Mineral Sea Mud Body Application (25 minutes)
   Your body is painted with French mud and a seawater paste and then wrapped in a warm blanket. The sea’s natural elements are rapidly absorbed and your immune system is improved as toxins are eliminated in a detoxifying process.
    
2. Massage
   A. Aromatherapy French Massage (55 minutes / 85 minutes)
   Let your mind drift under the expert hands of our trained masseuse performing your choice of exotic French style massage. Enjoy the light fragrance of original blended Thalasso aromatherapy massage oil to relieve sun burn, jet lag, insomnia and muscle tension. This treatment will awaken the senses and leave you feeling refreshed, revived and radiant.
   B. Aromatherapy Balinese Massage (55 minutes / 85 minutes)
   Aromatherapy Balinese massage uses a combination of gentle stretches, acupressure and Thalasso Original blended aromatherapy massage oil to stimulate the flow of blood, oxygen and energy around your body, and bring deep relaxation and wellness. This massage works deeply to soothe damaged tissue, and relieve strained muscles and joint pain. The boost to your circulation will help reduce stress and rebalanced your body.
   C. Lymphatic Drainage Massage (55 minutes / 85 minutes)
   This therapeutic massage focuses on the lymph nodes to relive medical problems. The 85 minute treatment is combined with a Lymphatic Drainage Manual Massage and Pressotherapy whereby compressed air is used to improve the circulation throughout your feet and legs.
   D. Sea Mineral Detoxifying Massage (55 minutes)
   Using a French technique with salty aromatherapy oil, this massage has a detoxifying effect and leaves the skin with a healthy glow.
   E. Thermo Effective Slimming Massage (55 minutes)
   This Lymphatic Drainage Massage technique uses anti cellulite oil with heat gel, followed slimming icy cool gel to problem area of the body to burn cellulite.
   F. Therapeutic Infra-red Massage (85 minutes)
   The Therapeutic Infra-red Massage is delivered by incorporating the warmth of an infra-red lamp to relax muscles, ease pain and help reduce cellulite.
   G. Warm & Cold Stone Massage (85 minutes)
   As the warm basalt stones are placed in-between the toes; the spine and the stomach are engaged by warm and cool temperatures, combined with aromatherapy oil aiding in the detoxification of the entire body. While our therapist simultaneously apply warm and cold stones along acupressure points on the body, the expansion of blood vessels oxygenate the blood, creating a calming effect on the entire skeletal and nervous system. The heat of the basalt stones gliding across your limbs to fire up the lymphatic system, circulating nutrients throughout the body. As the cold marble gently awakens your muscles, the constriction of blood vessels stimulates the nervous system, drawing toxins out of the body. The soothing sensation of the warm stone and refreshing coolness of the marble make this a dramatically therapeutic and restorative massage. Recommended for support of the immune system, countering against flu symptoms and congestion, in addition, it alleviates stress, tension, muscle aches, and fatigue.
   H. Herbal Ball Massage (85 minutes)
   The Herbal Ball Massage combines an aromatherapy massage and warm herbal ball acupressure. Anyone suffering with neurological disorders, aches, sprains or rheumatism should experience instant relief.
   I. Abhyanga Massage (55 minutes)
   Abhyanga Massage induces deep relaxation through the brisk, invigorating and long strokes of this Indian Austenitic massage using medicinal oils as per your dosha. This treatment relieves aches and pains, reduces high blood pressure, and detoxifies the body.
   J. Shirodhara (55 minutes)
   Shirodhara is one of the most popular Ayurvedic treatments in India. Its purpose is to induce a feeling of absolute calmness and serenity but it is also regarded as an anti-ageing treatment. Shirodhara oil at Thalasso Bali is made by an Indian Ayurvedic Doctor and is used for a mind-soothing Indian head, scalp, neck and shoulder massage to help melt away tensions or stress. Your therapist will then massage and nurture the vital energy points to stimulate and energize the body system. Allow yourself to totally relax when a golden stream of specially blended, warmed, medicated oil is poured continually over your third chakra (located in the centre of your forehead), for twenty minutes. This is a divine way to reduce stress, enhance both the physical and mental constitution and promote longevity.
   K. Thalasso Aromatherapy Foot Works (25 minutes / 60minutes)

   L. Foot Therapy (55 minutes)
   This treatment is a combination of a manual Aromatherapy Foot Massage and a Pressotherapy machine treatment. It begins with a seawater foot wash to relax and refresh the feet continuing with an aromatherapy foot massage and a computerized pressure massage. This treatment uses compressed air to improve the circulation throughout your feet and legs. Your therapist will perform a shoulder massage during Pressotherapy.

3. Body Exfoliation
   A. Body Exfoliation (55 minutes)
   Exfoliates and cleans the skin better than soaps or cleansers. Removes dull, dead skin cells to reveal a younger skin layer. Thoroughly cleans your pores allowing your skin to breathe easier. Stimulates blood circulation and removes daily toxins. Helps future skin regeneration to keep your skin looking younger. Strengthens and firms skin tissues. Only our Body Exfoliation uses Pure Sea Water Great Shower to promote an energized body and reduce tension and cellulite.
   * Mint Sea Salt: Our signature body scrub. Rubbing your skin with a good salt scrub allows the texture of the paste to exfoliate and polish the skin, leaving it clean and refreshed. It will rub away any dead skin cells that have the effect of leaving your skin dull. The fine salt grains really cleanse every pore and allow your skin to breathe easier. Basically a good salt scrub will clean your skin like no soap or cleanser can, simply due to the texture of the salt grains.
   * Asian Spice: A blend of saffron and sandalwood makes the skin look young and gives it a natural fragrance. Rose water is mixed upon application to the body.
   * Green Beans: Mung beans and eucalyptus is ideal for daily cleansing of or occasional use. It helps detoxify, promote weight reduction and revitalize the body.
